The Career Summit is the perfect primer for you to start your career exploration journey!
No matter how much or little you have considered life after Northwestern, the Career Summit gives you the opportunity to hear from dozens of different industry professionals who were in your same exact shoes. Learn from these amazing alumni through workshops, networking, and interactive panels!
No preparation is necessary; just sign up for what piques your interest and attend with an open mind. Attire is Wildcat casual - come as you would on a game day! Also, we will be serving breakfast and lunch to all attendees.
Whether you know what you want to do after graduation or just arrived on campus, this is a great event for you to learn more about, and practice, your career exploration skills!
Many sessions sell out, so make sure to register while you can.

- I’m not a Senior, why should I be worried about getting a job?
- The career summit is not a job fair; instead, it gives you a peek into many of the different industries you could choose to explore! Not sure what major to choose? This is for you. Not sure about what internships to explore? This is for you!
- I AM a Senior and I totally know what I’m doing. Why should I go?
- Almost everyone changes their career at least once in their life! Learning about other careers and building connections across industries will help you not only excel in whatever first path you’ve decided to take, but also give you the tools to pivot if and when that time comes.
- Do I have to stay for the whole day?
- Nope! Sign up for whatever panels or events pique your interest (and maybe pick something you might not otherwise explore).
- What if I have dietary restrictions or accommodation needs?
- Please reach out to Nick at nicholas.mayerson@northwestern.edu! A majority of our program is on the main floor of Kresge Hall, which is accessible. Both breakfast and lunch have gluten-free and vegan options.
Once you have registered, go to the "Schedule" tab and select which sessions you would like to attend and add them to "My Schedule"! This will lock in your sessions and complete your registration.
